Focus Groups

In POIESIS we aim to study the relationship between trust, science and research integrity and integration practices in a world where there is increasing need for clear and open scientific information. To accomplish this goal, we will organize 21 Focus Groups, including various institutional stakeholders, three in each POIESIS country – Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom.

The purpose of those focus groups is to gather diverse perspectives and opinions on how integrity of researchers and scientific institutions and integration of the public in research affect public trust in science.

The data collected through the focus groups will allow us to investigate at the institutional level:

Perceptions of public trust, research integrity and social integration
Concerns, hopes and expectations towards research integrity and social integration
Procedures and policies translating research integrity and social integration into
communicational or organisational processes
Expectations about the impact of these procedures and policies.

Focus Groups
